At Avenues Australia, our team is our greatest strength, comprising highly passionate, skilled, and dedicated professionals. Each member's diverse experience, and expertise in various domains are pivotal to our success, enabling us to offer quality services to our clients. Our team's combination of professional skills and lived experience allows us to support our clients in a meaningful and dynamic way. Together, we are dedicated to work towards a shared purpose, driven by the shared values.

  • Emma is a Senior Service Coordinator at Avenues Australia, where she assists participants to understand and navigate their NDIS plan, connect with providers to increase participants independence, and to assist and support clients with meeting their goals. Emma values respect, compassion, and honesty. Emma’s strengths include truly listening to clients, empathy, and patience. Emma has lived experience with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), diagnosed in the last few years when she lost her balance and mobility. With the assistance of allied health professionals, she has regained these functions and continuously works with her therapists to maintain them. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Emma worked at MSWA and for an Allied Health provider, where she created service agreements and scheduled services with clients and therapists. She has worked in aged care as a lifestyle, therapy, and spiritual coordinator, and previously owned an out of school hours care business and lectured fitness for TAFE. Emma has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Certificate IV in Business Management, a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistant and Childcare.

    Emma has two older children and a furbaby, a cavoodle called Alfie, who is a qualified therapy dog. In her spare time, Emma likes to be outdoors in nature, read, renovate houses, and spend time with her family.

  • Nathan is a Senior Service Coordinator at Avenues Australia, where he supports NDIS participants navigate and connect to their supports. Nathan prepares for reviews and evaluates all outcomes, starting weeks beforehand, and seeks participants’ opinions on the documents related to them and their services. What drives Nathan in this industry is his passion to increase enjoyment in people’s lives who live with disabilities. The best thing about working with people with disabilities is seeing them smile when they achieve the goals that they set in place.

    Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Nathan worked at Plan and Grow, where he was an NDIS Service Coordinator. He also worked at Hall and Prior, where he was an Accommodation and Supports Coordinator.

    Nathan has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Psychology and a Certificate IV in Community Services.

    Nathan has a four-legged child named Gunny, who loves to run around and make a mess. In his spare time, Nathan likes to play video games and learn new things at least once a week.

  • Tamrar is a Business Administration Associate at Avenues Australia. She has personal lived experience with mental health and a sister with spina bifida. Tamrar enjoys working in the disability sector because she has seen first-hand challenges of navigating the industry through her sister. Tamrar is currently completing a Cert IV in Business Administration. She has previously studied Business Operations and Multimedia. In her spare time, Tamrar has been a volunteer for the State Emergency Service since 2003, where she is now an Administration Officer and moulage artist.

  • Grace is a Manager of Accounting and Finance at Avenues Australia where she leads, manages and grows the accounting, taxation and financial aspects at Avenues Australia. 

    She also conducts and oversees the financial administration service (Plan Management) for our clients and is responsible for ensuring their provider payments are paid and their NDIS budgets are being used within the NDIS pricing rules and other compliance measures.  

    Grace’s strengths include her strong work ethic and her appreciation of beauty and excellence. She believes there is a beautiful side in all domains of life. Prior to working at Avenues Australia Grace worked at Patches Australia, a NDIS provider of paediatric therapies and assessment, as a Finance Business Partner. with over seven years of experience in the healthcare, manufacturing, and public practice sectors, Grace is passionate about helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. 

    Grace has an honours Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Business & Marketing from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, and a Master of Professional Accounting from Murdoch University, Western Australia.    

    Grace has a daughter and in her spare time she enjoys volunteering with her daughter. She also loves sewing and camping. 

  • Carlee is a Recovery Coach at Avenues Australia, where she assists individuals in their recovery journey and manages their NDIS package to receive the services they need. She values honesty, kindness and inclusion. Carlee’s strengths include listening, compassion, and being non-judgemental. Carlee has lived experience with mental health concerns. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Carlee worked at Indigo Junction, where she was a case worker for the family service. She also worked at St Barts, where she supported homeless women.

    Carlee has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science and a Certificate III in Disability Studies.

    Carlee has three amazing nephews. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging with friends, reading, and assisting on the family farm.

  • Lilly is the "Manager of Paw-ductivity" at Avenues Australia, where her job description is simple: bring joy, ignore deadlines, and ensure that no one leaves the office without a smile. Lilly’s energy is nothing short of contagious, and she often finds herself in the middle of important meetings, tail-wagging, and asking way too many questions about everyone’s lunch plans. Lilly’s core values include curiosity, enthusiasm, and a level of playfulness that defies all office etiquette. While others are buried in spreadsheets and deadlines, Lilly is busy ensuring that the office remains a pawsitive place to be. Lilly’s superpower is her ability to turn any stressful situation into a cuddle session, even if it involves sitting on your lap while you’re trying to type an email. At the end of the day, Lilly’s mantra is simple: "Work hard, play harder, and never underestimate the power of a good belly rub.”

  • Brett is a Psychosocial Recovery Coach at Avenues Australia, where he supports his Participants to navigate the NDIS and aid in strengthening their skill set to navigate through life’s ups and downs. Brett has had lived experiences with abuse, addictions, challenging family dynamics, and injuries. He has also faced many challenges throughout his life. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Brett was a Service Coordinator with Mighty Mentors, where he helped manage Participants support. Prior to this, he worked as a support worker, where he quickly developed a passion for supporting people with their NDIS journey. Brett is a qualified Pastry chef and will be studying mental health to further enhance his vast array of life skills.

  • Phoebe is an Accounting and Finance Associate Trainee at Avenues Australia where she is learning the ins and outs of financial administration, gaining knowledge and expertise under the guidance of the Accounting and Finance Manager.

    She values Curiosity, Humour and Kindness. Phoebe’s strengths include perseverance, observance, empathy and always willing to assist others.

    Prior to working at Avenues Australia Phoebe worked at Etax Accountants where she worked as a customer service representative, assisting clients with their tax returns. She has also worked as a waitress and barista, where she fine-tuned her skills in the art of coffee making.

    Phoebe has a bachelor’s degree in commerce, majoring in Accounting and Accounting Technologies and is keen to start her professional journey in an organisation who strive to enrich the lives of others.

    Phoebe has two fur babies, one cat and one dog. In her spare time, she enjoys pursuing her own research in history and attending game nights with friends.

  • Frizza is a Recovery Coach at Avenues Australia, where she actively supports and engages NDIS participants in building capacity and resilience. Frizza values professionalism, compassion, and motivation. Frizza’s greatest strengths are openness to learning, ability to adapt, and empathise with people from all walks of life.

    Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Frizza had years of experience in the mental health industry, where she worked as a Resiliency Coach at PhilhealthCare Inc. and as an Associate School Counsellor at Holy Cross College in the Philippines. Frizza has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is currently studying for a Diploma in Mental Health. She is a member of the Australian Community Workers Association.

    Frizza’s passions and hobbies are animals (especially cats), travel, and food. Spending time with her cat, Chilbong, is what calms her the most. She also likes to go for a walk, be it around the city or nature.

  • Karina is a Senior Recovery Coach and Support Coordinator at Avenues Australia. She feels profoundly grateful to see clients and their families achieve the life they want, and to watch them have hope for a better future. She takes a trauma informed and person-centred approach to connect clients with the right resources to thrive, and coaches them through barriers with their mental health.

    Karina’s values are integrity, kindness, curiosity and hope. Her strengths include empathy, warmth, attention to detail, and determination to see positive outcomes.  

    Karina has lived experience with anxiety disorder and depression, an autoimmune condition, and Fibromyalgia.

    Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Karina worked at Cohealth where she was a forensic mental health practitioner. With 14 years’ experience in the disability, mental health and Alcohol and Other Drugs sectors, Karina has worked in various settings and roles including prisons, Magistrates’ Court, family violence, homelessness services, residential services, crisis support, and community outreach.

    Karina lives in Melbourne with her partner and their 2 year old furbaby named Patterson (Patty). Karina enjoys reading, watching nature documentaries, listening to astronomy podcasts, building Lego, and spending time at the local dog parks.

    Karina has a Bachelor of Criminology and Justice, is a qualified SMART Recovery facilitator, and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology.

  • Alfie is a certified Therapy Dog at Avenues Australia where he provides comfort and emotional support to clients and staff in the office environment. He values compassion, patience, and loyalty. Alfie's strengths include his calming presence, empathy, and ability to connect with people.

    Prior to being at Avenues Australia, Alfie provided therapy support in aged care homes, since he was six months old where he supported individuals through stressful situations and brought pure joy to residents.

    Alfie has completed extensive training in animal-assisted therapy and holds certifications in obedience and therapy dog services.

    Outside of the office, he enjoys playing fetch in the park, chasing ducks, going for long walks on the beach, dressing up in his favourite bowtie, and snuggling up for a good nap. When he's not busy making everyone smile, you might find him perfecting his puppy eyes for extra treats.

  • Fery is a Service Coordinator at Avenues Australia since 2021 and is based in Perth. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Fery worked as an NDIS community ambassador, and various other roles in the disability and aged care sectors at Identity WA, AtHomeCare and Baptistcare. Prior to working in the disability sector, she worked as a bookkeeper. She has a Cert IV in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy), Cert III in Individual Support, Advance Diploma of Accountancy, Diploma of Mathematics.

  • Fadzai is CEO of Avenues Australia. Her most recent role prior to Avenues Australia was as an Assistant Director at the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) where she overlooked the mainstream engagement of the Health, Justice, and Child Protection interface portfolios. Prior to this role, she was an Associate Director at Social Ventures Australia, Australia's largest social purpose consulting company that invests in innovative systems change initiatives through consulting services and impact investing. Prior to this, she spent most of her career working as a Principle consultant with organisations and government agencies in the extractives industry to manage their social and economic impact in regional Australian communities across Australia. Fadzai holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University. She is currently completing a Masters of Applied Economics at UNSW. She has a lived experience with an immediate family member on the NDIS.

  • Max is the Chief Happiness Officer at Avenues Australia, and he takes his job of spreading joy very seriously—or as seriously as a dog can, between naps and belly rubs. Max is full of energy, always ready to brighten someone’s day with a wagging tail.

    Max’s core values include compassion, patience, and a complete disregard for personal space when he’s excited to see you. His superpowers are his calming presence, empathy, and an uncanny ability to know who gives the best belly rubs in the office.

    Outside of work hours, Max is living his best life. He’s a pro at chasing birds (though he’s never actually caught one), barking at buses (because they dare pass his territory and steal the spotlight), and enjoying long walks. When he’s not busy collecting belly rubs, he’s perfecting his skills for scoring extra treats!

  • Jace is a Team Leader in the Mental Health team Avenues Australia. His main role is to support the Mental Health Recovery Coaching team to enhance the capacity of our clients to navigate their NDIS plans, as well as access community and mainstream services effectively. His strengths include being open-minded and adaptable, possessing strong communication skills, and extensive expertise in addressing issues related to substance abuse disorders (AoD) and mental health. Jace has lived and learned experience, being diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Disorder (C-PTSD) and Autism. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Jace worked at the Autism Association of WA and Aberstone Community Services where he esupported clients in 1 on 1 settings and group settings and helped them build their social and developmental skills. Jace has a Certificate IV in Community Services, Diploma of Business, and currently finishing a Bachelor Degree in Social and Developmental Psychology.

    Jace’s passions and hobbies are animals, the outdoors, films and music. He loves going for hikes with his dog, Bandit.

  • Caitelyn is a Recovery Coach at Avenues Australia, where she coaches participants to have greater control and independence in managing their mental health and wellbeing, working alongside other services to support and underpin these outcomes. Caitelyn is most passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most and has worked closely with individuals who have experienced trauma, mental health issues, and substance use. Caitelyn is a warm, friendly, compassionate and hardworking individual and prides herself in being honest in everything she does. She enjoys new challenges and continuously seeks opportunities to learn. Caitelyn has lived experience of anxiety and depression during her adolescence, which ignited her passion to study mental health/counselling and to support others on their recovery journey. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Caitelyn worked at RUAH as a Mental Health Support Coordinator. Caitelyn’s duties involved supporting clients to achieve their desired goals that are set to help improve their mental health. Caitelyn has an Advanced Level 3 and 4 Diploma in Counselling and multiple CPD certificates in mental health.

    Caitelyn enjoys staying fit and healthy in her spare time – muay thai kickboxing, weightlifting, and surfing. Caitelyn is a big animal lover and experiences a lot of joy when watching and spending time with animals – mostly dogs.

  • Karolina is a Recovery Coach at Avenues Australia in Perth. She has a lived experience with anxiety disorder, depression, and a family member with dementia. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Karolina worked at Devoted Health Care and Friends at Home. Karolina has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Business and Administration that she completed in Poland. She also completed Certificate IV in Community Services, Diploma in Community Services, and Diploma in Counselling.

  • Jacob is Team Leader for the Support Coordination team at Avenues Australia, where, alongside assisting the Support Coordination Team to ensure all our NDIS Participant's capacity is being built to understand how to navigate the NDIS, he also works directly with NDIS Participants to utilise and connect with their NDIS Plans. Jacob has lived experience with being a friend’s NDIS Plan Nominee, as well as having a mental health diagnosis of Bipolar Affective Disorder Type-2. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Jacob worked at Linked Support Solutions, where he was the Support Coordination and Quality and Safeguarding Manager. He also worked at Plan Partners, where he was a Support Coordinator. Jacob has a Diploma in Community Services and a Diploma in Counselling. He is completing a currently completing a Bachelor of Counselling.

  • Kaylah supports all service delivery teams at Avenues Australia. She has lived and learnt experience with depression and anxiety as well as work in the Alcohol and Other Drugs sector. Prior to working at Avenues Australia, Kaylah worked at APM, Partner of NDIS, where she worked as a Team Leader for the Priorities and Reviews Team, supporting staff to help participants to build quality NDIS plans. She also worked at Cyrenian House, where she delivered an Art Therapy program for the Woman and Children’s section of the therapeutic community, holding both group and Individual Art Therapy sessions to support the healing and growth of those experiencing Drug and Alcohol abuse and Trauma in their lives. Kaylah has an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy and a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
