Our COVID Response

Avenues have set a high standard of precaution for the safety and wellbeing of our staff and clients. For your safety and the safety of our clients and staff, please make an appointment before attending our office in person. 

As of July 2020:

  • The Avenues office is open for business as usual.
  • Face-to-face meetings and support are available for clients choosing to access services this way.
  • We are strictly following the advice provided by the Department of Health regarding hygiene and infection control. This includes disinfecting workspaces regularly, washing hands frequently and avoiding sharing stationery and kitchen items.
  • We are regularly checking in with clients regarding their health, particularly before any face-to-face appointments.
  • We are adhering to physical distancing rules and limiting physical contact where possible during therapy sessions.
  • Our staff are well equipped to support clients and families who are experiencing any challenges or anxiety relating to Coronavirus and their NDIS supports.  If you need support please contact our team. 

Resources and Updates

The websites below provide up-to-date information and advice about Coronavirus Pandemic for people with a disability, and their families and/or carers. If you are concerned about your health call the Coronavirus Health Information line 1800 020 080.  If you require translating or interpreting services, call 131 450. 

The NDIA produce up-to-date information about the Coronavirus Pandemic.

DSS provides information and referrals including the Disability Information Helpline 1800 643 787.

WA Health provides current health alert, local outbreak information and general COVID-19 information.

Health Direct, a government-funded service, has a COVID-19 symptom checker available on their website.

Beyond Blue provides information and support about mental health, for people in various situations.
